Another game, another goal for Tij Iginla at the U18 World Championship in Finland.
Iginla and Team Canada improved to 4-0-0 in the tournament with an 11-3 drubbing of Kazakhstan today.
The game was tied 1-1 with just under five minutes left in the opening frame with Iginla scoring his fourth of the tournament to give Canada a lead they’d never surrender.

The Kelowna Rockets forward started the round robin with an assist in Canada’s 6-3 win over Sweden, but has found the back of the net in every game since then.
He potted two goals against Czechia in a 6-0 triumph, then followed it up with a goal against Switzerland as Canada cruised to an 8-1 victory on Sunday.

With a perfect record through four round robin games, Canada earned pole position in Group B at the U18 World Championship and that means a favourable matchup in the quarterfinals.
They will take on Latvia on Thursday, May 2, with the puck drop set for 9:45 am PT.
