Bella Bella is a Heiltsuk First Nation community on Campbell Island, about 475 kilometres northwest of Vancouver.

The village is right by the Great Bear Rainforest, the largest intact temperate rainforest, which stretches 400 kilometres along the coast of B.C.

The Duke and Duchess will be treated to an aerial tour of the rainforest in a float plane on Monday morning.

There will be an official First Nations welcome at the Elder’s Lodge when William and Kate arrive at noon.

At 1 p.m., The Duke of Cambridge will mark the dedication of the Great Bear Rainforest as part of the Queen’s Common Wealth Canopy (QCC) initiative. The goal of the QCC is conserving indigenous forests for future generations. A ceremony will be held to mark the occasion.

Their Royal Highnesses will close the visit with a boat tour of McLoughlin Bay.

The weather in Bella Bella Monday is forecast to be dramatic with high winds, choppy seas and heavy rain.

At this time, the coordinator of the Royal Tour hasn’t confirmed all elements of the day, and reportedly may be cancelling the royal's time in the float plane and boat due to safety risks.

Back in Victoria, William and Kate are set to take part in The Black Rod Ceremony at Government House.

His Royal Highness will install a final Ring of Reconciliation symbolize the reconciliation of all cultures in British Columbia.

A reception will be hosted by the Province of British Columbia.

The Duke and Duchess will spend day four in Kelowna visiting UBCO and Mission Hill Winery.
