Brace yourselves, winter is on its way.
Now that it’s September, we have to bid adieu to the hot weather of summer and realize that first comes fall, then comes winter.
Signs are already showing up in British Columbia, with Whistler Blackcomb reporting its first snowfall of the season.
I guess it’s good news for those who are waiting to hit the powder. (But can’t you wait a little longer?)
The temperature at Whistler Village is only 11C today and at the peak is a chilly 1C.

Showers are expected for the rest of the week, according to Environment Canada, but none of the white stuff has been forecast for the near future.
Early bird season passes for Whistler are already on sale so if you’re eager to take to the slopes you can secure your spot.
Did I mention Christmas is less than four months away?
