Google is doing what it can to be competitive by releasing new smartphone technology this week.
The company announced their new “family” of #madebygoogle devices during a keynote Tuesday morning.
Getting the most attention is the Pixel smartphone, reportedly made to challenge the iPhone’s market.
The phone boasts Google Assistant, a Siri like feature, a powerful camera with features like smartburst and lens blur and up to seven hours of power after a 15-minute charge.
The Pixel will come in two sizes and three colours: very silver, quite black and, in the U.S. only, really blue.
There is even a case with a photo by Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield on it.
Although they highlight a lot of new features, in a jab at Apple, a new video about the Pixel mentions the (not new) headphone jack, something the iPhone dropped in its latest model, the iPhone 7. Cough, cough.
